Workshops to increase safety and self care

Empowerment to foster safety and care at school.

Self care on the school schedule

Exercises and tools are practiced to nurture and cultivate safety, connection with the heart and self care. Care starts with ourselves – then we can share with others

Empowerment – hand on heart

Put your hand on your heart. How does that make you feel?

Hand on heart is just one simple tool to show care for ourselves. We can feel our heart physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual. We can be more or less connected to feel it.

Other tools are balloon exercise and listen exercise from our expert teacher and mindfulness trainer Inez van Goor – these are just a few of our tools.

The tools provide empowerment for the teachers and students to take deeper care of themselves and others. The list of benefits are long – more calm, increased ability to connect with ourselves and much more.

Book a workshop for teachers

The inner state of the teachers influence childrens’ well-being in the class room. Learn more about that and get tools to increase the energy when it’s low – and decrease energy when the children are too active. Learn how to create a more calm class room – and connect deeper with yourself and the children. Happy teachers change the world:)

Experts on the project

Therapist Alex Gamberini

Our experts therapist Alex Gamberini and teacher and mindfulness instructor Inez van Goor are contributing on our work with the tools. Some of the tools are directly from the work Inez is doing with her students at the primary school ‘Ichthus’ in Zeist, in the Netherlands. Read more about our experts.

Value of the tools – experience from primary school in the Netherlands:

“The practice and tools help the children to be calm by connecting with their inner quietness and peace and take care from there onwards. I now rarely see fights between students. On the contrary; the children are compassionate and helpful. Other teachers and parents have asked for the tools that I happily share. Now also with the project ‘Learn with Care’, so these tools can come into the hands of more teachers around the world – including in Africa.”

Inez van Goor, teacher at the primary school ‘Ichthus’ in Zeist, in the Netherlands. Author of ‘Mindfulness for children’ (in Dutch) and practice the tools with her students.

Why Support Learn with Care

Select Learn with Care for transformational support.

Support children’s safety

Today many children are still beatet at school in many countries. Your support can help us change it – and foster safety and care.

Connect with your heart

Connecting with our heart is not something that we learn anywhere – with this project we aim to connect teachers and students to their hearts for a calm and caring classroom.

Care on the school schedule

Teachers and students practice tools and exercises that can help them not only in school but also in general in life to deepen care for themselves and share with others.

Many teachers and students suffer

Stress, difficult emotions, mental load and other challenges make life at school hard. There is a path that we guide and walk together.

Meditation at school

Embrace a Future of Compassion and Care

We have the choice that the next step we take is caring. First we need a safe and calm place. That place is within us – and meditation is the path.

Dalai Lama once said “If every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation.”
